The hotel is a special establishments with a clear philosophy to offer detail-oriented service at hotels located in historical, emblematic buildings in the centre of Barcelona.

Taking advantage of the need for a full renovation of the establishment, the hotel decided to take a step forward in accessibility and design for all, adapting one of its rooms with technology to control the environment. By using a remote control the size of a mobile phone, users with mobility difficulties can open the door, open or close curtains, turn lights and heating off or on, and even easily select clothes from the motorized closet. Additionally, they wanted to provide our most special clients with support products like a shower chair, overhead lift for autonomous transfer to or from the bed, and a cutting-edge clinical bed with an electrical system. Furthermore, they have renovated the room with the same aesthetics and materials already used in the rest of the hotel, thus preserving the level of comfort and accessibility offered in the other rooms
